We are Andrea Verrall, and Jason Schormans. We live in central Ontario with our crew of Chihuahuas and their feline companion, Pekoe. Andrea worked in the veterinary field as a veterinary technician for over 18 years and as a groomer for more than six years.

We both grew up with larger breed dogs and purchased our first Chihuahua in 2007. That little dog was a very big reason why we decided to become preservation breeders. Moochacho did not come from a reputable breeder and had many issues that we believe could have been avoided. Nevertheless, Moochacho was an obedience star earning titles in both competitive obedience and rally obedience.

When we decided to add another Chihuahua, we knew it had to be from a reputable breeder. Andrea was eager to try out the conformation show world and that’s where our foundation female Jezabel came in. She was our sassy, spicy, unstoppable girl. Jezabel and Andrea had so many "firsts" together. First Canadian Champion, first trip to the prestigious Westminster kennel club show, first best in show, first litter of puppies and the list goes on. Without that little 5 pound dog we wouldn’t be where we are today.

We have since been blessed to be able to work closely with some of Canadas top Chihuahua breeders, and are very proud of our accomplishments both in and out of the ring. Here at Lilpawz, we breed CKC registered, healthy, sound Chihuahuas that adhere to the breed standard. Our #1 goal is to preserve and better the breed we love.
